I wouldn’t consider myself a car enthusiast, and I doubt I would ever have noticed the Vintage Sports-car Club if I hadn’t been up in the Lake District one autumn and noticed an event at a nearby slate quarry. Knowing that the location would provide wonderful backgrounds, I spent the day high up a fell in alternating rain and snow, and in following years have experienced torrential rain and peak autumn colours.
