If you use my Search and Replace Lightroom plug-in, I’m currently updating it. So if there’s something you want, now’s a good time to ask.
Hello John, thanks for the utility. Just trialling v1.39 at the moment having recently got LR4. Porting across from EM2. Having some problems having generated the required XML, hitting the ‘process’ button yields an error: “An internal error has occurred: Attempt to access property “event” that’s not declared in Info.lua”.
Is this caused by my specific metadata? (use lots of catalogue sets but don’t use “event” grouping in EM2 at all. Use ImageIngesterPro to auto-create EM2 catalogues)
I think it’s in the instructions, but you need to enable the plugin’s custom fields (in plugin manager)
Very helpful plugin – thanks.
Now I must replace different keywords in over 70000 images.
I thought this goes with Search and Replace.
Unfortunately, the Keyword target field is not available.
It would be great if you could build in that.
Is this possible?
Thanks and best greetings Wolfgang
Wolfgang, maybe you can describe exactly why you can’t do that through Lightroom’s key wording list?
I haven’t used it much but I have the following planned: all of my contact information – addresses, web sites, phone numbers, emails have to be updated and all of the PLUS data (copyright holder, one or two other fields) also need updating.
About 30,000 records.
If it already does this, we’re good. If not, would you please consider adding in the missing pieces?
