Sensor swabbing
I've swabbed the D100's sensor. And of course it wasn't quite as frightening or difficult as I'd feared. After doing it, I shot a white card at f22 and could still see dust spots when the image was blown up on computer, but they were really reduced, so I repeated this a couple of times with fresh swabs until I couldn't see any obvious spots. So I'd say this was a success, and the cleaning kit's going to travel with me on all future trips.
